Mid Kent

I have not long taken over as Division Commissioner for Maidstone Mid Kent. I cover 5 Districts, Allington, Barming, Mote, Staplehurst and Wateringbury & Valley.  Being a Brownie and a Guide myself when it came to the time of my daughter wanting to start Rainbows, once again found out how much pleasure I had when I was a youngster enjoying meeting new friends and going on outings and learning new things, the question was eventually asked if I could go along and help now and again. Well we all know what that means, it's just an hour a week LOL!!.  Well my daughter is now 22 years old, left when she was a Guide at 14 and I am still here. 
 
Anyway as a Division in Mid Kent we all get on very well and a good example of this was when we came together for our Launch Party, approx 430 girls adults and guests joined together at Mote Hall, Maidstone Leisure Centre, being entertained by the Hullabaloo Road show where the Girls took part in a Sing A long and Dance style Party and had a Celebration Birthday Cake, great fun was had by all even though a little loud for some of our older guests, however they were please to be invited and got into the spirit of things.
