Brownie Water Fun Day

Sunday 27th September dawned bright and sunny as the Brownies took to the water at the Tonbridge Sea Scout Centre. In all seventy two Brownies from across the county were able to sample the delights of kayaking, Canadian canoes, rowing and driving a motor boat. Kayaking was a particular favourite with the girls who enjoyed getting wet whilst the leaders in general prefered the more sedate pleasure of accompanying their girls in the motor boats. Parents felt the day offered a fantastic opportunity which was also good value for money. Leaders new to the occasion said it was "fantastic - absolutely brilliant" and another "I'm soaked through to my undies!" All girls had big smiles on their faces and thoroughly enjoyed their time on the water.
